Dear Editor,

I’m writing to express my concern for the lack of media coverage of a great cause that goes unseen to many of the American people. The NewJersey Mission of Honor is a cause that aided the families of fallen Veterans around the world.

In New Jersey alone there are hundreds of cremated remains that are unclaimed and the families of those people have no idea where or that their family members remains are sitting in the funeral homes collecting dust. The Mission of Honor goes to these homes, finds the remains and contacts the families, and if not family can be found they will claim the remains and bury the soldier in a military cemetery. Many have been held in Arlington Cemetery where I had the great honor of participating in one of these ceremonies where these honorable men who sacrificed their lives for their country are finally laid to rest. It is a wonderful ceremony that had a convoy of more than 200 vehicles driving to the cemetery. Many people attended the ceremony, itself.

This cause is just and should be receiving much more media coverage than it is, which is why I am writing this letter to express my concern for the lack of coverage. This is a noble group of humans, who are doing the men who gave up their own lives for us and this country, the honor they deserve. To often to we forget what these men have done for us and the N.J.  Mission of Honor is making sure this never happens again.

I strongly urge you to contact the website http://www.njsmissionofhonor.org

Sincerly,

Vinny Sidoli
